CEN-IDOCV Demo v1.5.1.smw Release Notes
=========================================

This program implements a CEN-IDOCV through a PRO2 control unit.

The system has been designed to utilize a TPMC-8X, TPS-6X, TPMC-4XG, and an APAD for user interfaces.

This program contains a default IP Table. When loading the system, be sure to load the Default IP Table when prompted by Toolbox.
Also be sure to configure the IP tables on the CEN-IDOCV and ethernet touch panels to point to the PRO2.
The correct IPIDs are shown below.

The program was designed and tested with firmware version 1.005.0003 for the CEN-IDOCV.

Important Information
=======================

Notes for adding additional touch panels
------------------------------------------
If adding additional touch panels besides additional APAD panels, please make sure to add appropriate signals on the following symbols in the "Common Logic"
subsystem in addition to adding Browse Logic for each interface:
-"Buffer: Buffer browse page flip..."
-"Buffer: Buffer play all songs on iPod..."

If adding additional TPMC-8X, TPS-6X, TPMC-4XG, or APAD panels:
Copy the subsystem associated with the same panel type. After adding an additional browse context to the CEN-IDOCV, copying
the signals to its sub-slots, and copying the signals to the new touch panel's press and feedback cues, a search and replace can be used
to rename the signal's panel identifier. This must be done on the "Browse" and "Search" sub-slots, the panel's press and
feedback cues, and the subsystem with the logic for the panel. For example, after copying all previously mentioned logic and signals
for a new TPMC-8X, a search and replace can be used to replace "TPMC-8X" with "Living_Room_TPMC-8X" for the new panel.

If adding other panels:
**One of the subsystems containing the browse logic must be copied for use with the new panel. For panels that have many hard buttons which
may be used for page up, page down, top of list, and end of list it is recommended to use the subsystem for the TPMC-4XG as these features
have already been integrated. For smaller panels that only require a page up and page down or no additional hard button logic, and have no search
results on the search page, use of the subsystem for the TPS-6X is recommended. For larger panels that only require a page up and page down
or no additional hard button logic, and have search results on the search page, use of the subsystem for the TPMC-8X is recommended.**
After adding an additional browse context to the CEN-IDOCV, copying the signals to its sub-slots, and copying the signals to the new touch
panel's press and feedback cues, a search and replace can be used to rename the signal's panel identifier. This must be done on the "Browse"
and "Search" sub-slots, the panel's press and feedback cues, and the subsystem with the logic for the panel. For example, after copying all
logic and signals previously mentioned to entries for a new TPMC-8X, a search and replace can be used to replace "TPMC-8X" with "TPS-4L"
for the new panel. Also, be sure that the signals are named appropriately to connect to the two buffers mentioned above. Make sure joins
in the touch panel project have set adjusted accordingly for the new panel.
**Hard button programming may need to be adjusted on the panel and in the "Hard Button Logic" subsystem.**

Be sure to adjust the number of browse lines appropriately for any additional panels with the Analog Initialize found in the
"Initialization" subsystem for the desired panel's "Browse Logic" subsystem.

Disabling/Enabling the "Flip to Player Upon Selection" Feature
----------------------------------------------------------------
The "Flip to Player Upon Selection" feature allows for automatic page flip to the player page whenever a playable item (song, video,
playlist, all songs on the iPod, etc.) is selected.

The feature is automatically built into the program. If a manual page flip to the Player page is desired, do the following:
1. Locate the browse logic subsystem for the desired panel. This is labeled "Browse Logic: *******," where the asterisks represent
the desired panel type (i.e. "Browse Logic: TPMC-8X")
2. Comment the subsystem labeled "Flip to player page on item played..." out of the program.
3. Uncomment the subsystem to enable the feature.

Album Art
-----------
Album art has been enabled for this program. To disable album art, remove the "1" from the "EnAlbumArt" cue on the Transport Controls
slot of the CEN-IDOCV.

**Notice** - Album art will only be displayed when using an iPod Touch.

APAD Source Selection Screen
------------------------------
The APAD display project contains an example source selection page to indicate how the APAD would be included in a full system.
Please make sure to appropriately fill in the actual source names on the scrolling list object and adjust their enable joins
accordingly.
